Electronic communications may be provided through the TrialsNest portal, email, SMS, website notices, or downloadable documents.
Hardware and Software Requirements
To access electronic communications, you need:
Internet access A current web browser A device capable of viewing webpages and PDF documents An email account, if email communications are used A phone capable of receiving SMS, if SMS is used
Electronic Signatures
Where permitted, you agree that electronic signatures, typed names, checkboxes, acknowledgments, and consent buttons may have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures.
Clinical Research Consent
Study-specific informed consent may require separate procedures, IRB-approved forms, investigator review, identity verification, comprehension checks, or wet signatures. TrialsNest does not replace study-specific informed consent unless explicitly configured and legally approved for that study.

Withdrawing Consent
